FAQ
Which CBD strength is right for me?
We suggest starting with the lowest strength formula, the 750mg CBD Drops. You can gradually increase frequency or dosage as needed as you find your own balance. Consult your doctor if pregnant, nursing or taking medications.
Why do people use CBD?
Many people have found relief for chronic pain, insomnia, and anxiety by using CBD. The FDA, however, has not yet regulated CBD, and has not evaluated these statements. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Where does the CBD in your products come from?
We grow hemp organically at our South Carolina farm Eagle House Botanicals.
Is your hemp organic?
Yes. We grow hemp according to rigorous organic standards. We use only organic soil, fertilizers and pest control solutions, such as encouraging the presence of beneficial insects like ladybugs. We are in the process of applying for USDA organic certification.
What is CBD and CBG?
CBD stands for cannabidiol, and CBG stands for cannabigerol. These are two of the many cannabinoids found in hemp. Each has different properties and uses, many of which are only now being isolated and studied.
How much CBD is in your product?
The amount of CBD per serving is identified on the packaging. You can also access our products’ third-party laboratory tests for potency via the QR code on the packaging, or directly on our site.
What’s in your product and is it safe?
All of our products are tested by a third-party ISO-accredited laboratory for potency, cannabinoid profile, heavy metals and pesticides. We provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for each product by lot number. The QR code on the product will lead you our website page showing our COAs.
Will your CBD products cause intoxication?
No. All of our CBD products contain less than 0.3% THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, which is the psychoactive compound that causes a high and is found in concentrations over 0.3% in marijuana.
Is your hemp free of synthetic pesticides?
Yes. In order to protect your health and that of the earth, we never use synthetic pesticides. Our third-party laboratory tests show that our products are free from synthetic pesticides. You can view the tests on our website, or by clicking on the QR code on the product.
Is hemp legal?
Yes. The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 removed hemp from Schedule 1 controlled substances, making it an ordinary, legal agricultural commodity. That act became law on December 18, 2018.
How is hemp different from marijuana?
Hemp and marijuana are both cannabis, but the legal distinction lies in the amount of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) found in the plant. If the plant has less than 0.3% THC, it is hemp. If it has more than 0.3% THC, it is marijuana.
Will I fail a drug test if I use your products?
Eagle House Botanicals makes no guarantee that you will be able to pass a drug test after consuming our hemp products. While all of our products comply with federal regulations regarding THC content, (less than 0.3%) there may be rare instances in which THC can be detected in your body. If your employment is contingent on passing a drug test, we do not think it is worth the risk.
